Hi, my name is Brock Brewer and welcome to my Washington State University COM210 blog! I am currently a sophomore at WSU studying strategic communication and broadcast production. I went to high school in a relatively small town called Burlington, Washington where I was heavily involved with sports and clubs. I played football, basketball, golf, and tennis and was apart of ASB. This past year I studied and played golf at Scottsdale Community College in Scottsdale, Arizona before transferring to WSU. Currently, I am apart of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and I am working as a WSU athletics video intern as well. I am really excited to have the multimedia creation instruction in this class directly apply to my job. The purpose of this blog is to showcase some of the content I have created in COM210 and from my internship throughout the semester. As mentioned above, I have always been involved with sports in some capacity. Along with sports some of my hobbies include filmmaking, photography, hiking, and poker. Ultimately as I progress through the college of communication I want to work in the sports industry as a director/content producer, whether it be for a sports team or a media company such as ESPN, HBO, NFL films, etc.
